Cookies and visitor logs

Cookies are small files which many websites transfer to your hard disk but do not:

  • identify you the individual user
  • carry personal information (such as your name or bank account number)
  • harm your PC
This site uses cookies to follow the trail of your visit and provide information to help build up a picture of what interests you so that the NAS can try its best to provide information that is pertinent to you. In addition, by use of cookies, you can save your searches and bookmark services. You can then access your saved searches and bookmarks the next time you access the site. If you have set your browser not to use cookies, this facility does not work fully.

The NAS also looks at the statistics of the use of the website to try to make sure the site is delivering the right information to the right people in the most appropriate way.

Your Saved Searches and Bookmarks

You can save searches and bookmark services within the Autism Services Directory. By default these will be available to you the next time you visit the site. This does mean however that other users of this computer will be able to see your saved searches and bookmarks. If you do not want your saved searches and bookmarks to be remembered by the Autism Services Directory in this way then visit My privacy and select 'No' to this option.
